Established in 1994, the WRSSJCC was created as an organization to meet the needs of the local Jewish Community. Run by its members, it provides programs all year round including religious services, social gatherings, educational and cultural events. The purpose of the WRSSJCC is to provide a range of programs designed for Jewish individuals and families in the Lower Fraser Valley. Everyone is welcome regardless of age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious affiliation, if you are a Jew by birth, by choice, or if you are in a multi-faith marriage. We celebrate the strength of diversity in our community! Our organization is informed by Reform Jewish values and we do not condone or support discrimination or proselytizing of any kind.

Our members include singles, couples, and families who are either affiliated with synagogues as well as those who have no other Jewish affiliations but are looking to form such connections close to home. Some of our members have lived in the South Surrey-White Rock region most of their lives, while others are newcomers.
